Tool Functions

This tool is designed to help you align different objects within SketchUp. It’s especially useful when you’re trying to take multiple objects that are already in your model and line them up.
It’s really easy to use – simply select a series of objects and activate Curic align. This will add a bounding box around your objects that you can then click on to align objects to various lines, axes, etc.
You can align objects along any of the axes or edges of the bounding box created by the Curic preview view.
In addition, you can also align to a plane,
When you align to a plane, if you tap the tab key afterword, Curic align will attempt to rotate your objects so they’re all in line with the plane
Curic align will also align your objects along lines. There isn’t really an option to rotate objects to match lines that I’m seeing.
Theoretically, it aligns along section planes as well, though I could not get that function working.
Overall, this, along with Curic Space, which we talked about yesterday, is a great tool that adds to the functionality of SketchUp. It’s a small, lightweight plugin that really needs to be in your toolbox.
